umm.. a shop press works well for bending them.. but i believe a sheet metal break can be used as well.. and there are probably a number of quick and dirt methods to get the job done.. but i dont want to mention anything that could be potentially unsafe... so when bending a flat its good to have one of those tools around...
youd also have to heat treat the receiver, atleast along the bend lines and holes made in the receiver as well...
if you dont want to go through the work of bending it, you can get a pre-bent blank, but youll have to cut and drill the holes in it yourself with a drill press, and other tools... with a steady enough hand i was able to cut the square sections and the magwell out with a dremel following a template
so depending on what tools you already have, one style of 80% receiver could be easier to finish than the other
