my default load (accurate HD when i can't find anything else) is the federal 185gr jhp (i always have a few boxes on hand because it always feeds, has moderate recoil and hits close to POA in every colt and sig)

i'm sorta old fashioned, my default in 9mm is the 9BP 115gr jhp

my current carry in my p220 is the federal 165gr hydra-shok personal defense because i mostly work in a crowded building

i found the glock .45 a bit big for my hand (but i still want to try the g-36) but the sig was almost as comfortable as the 1911. the sig trigger can also be tuned very nicely (remember to smooth and round the face of the trigger at the same time)
