I think I'm going with the synthetic instead of the wood. Like you said the wood on low end guns doesn't look great, and I don't feel like taking the precautions to keep the wood from getting beat up, ya know. Maybe one day I'll have the extra cash for a high end shotgun and then I'll go with wood and baby it, but for now synthetic makes sense.
