.30 calcarbine
I like the idea mentioned earlier in this thread, A Bretta CX4 STORM Carbine in .30 cal Carbine, and keep the size and designe the same. It would be great and practical as well as a hard hitting defensive farm/ranch carbine. Easy to shoot, easy handling and compact. A great combination of size, weight, good handling chariteristics, and short range hitting power with hollow point or soft point ammo. Great IDEA
