Ok, maybe "Calling out" is bad phrasing, as the last person I'd want to "call out" is "Yoda with a Carbine."

Mr Rogers,

I have been reading your articles for a couple years now. I feel I have benefitted by being able to glean some good info about various pieces of hardware and determining if they are worth the investment.

Now I'm asking the real question:

What is your personal carbine?

Based on your articles and various posts I've come across, I'd ASSUME (and you know what happens) that it's got an Aimpoint in a Larue mount, but beyond that, I'm not sure.

Is it a Colt?

Due to your persistant advocacy of white lights, I'd ASSUME there's a Surefire on there. Which one, if any?

You've made positive comments about LT gear. Do you use a railed forend?

Are you an advocate of the VFG?

I hope I'm not out of line with my questions. I'm aware that what works for one may not work for another, but I've always wondered what you use.
