The hand in the old IJ & H&R revolvers are hardened and the rachet teeth on cylinders are
fairly soft. A lot of timing problems is a function of wear or burrs on cylinder. Nothing I hate
more than working on IJ or H&R revolvers. Three hands and slave pins required. I would
have loved to see these guns assembled at factory. I bet a bunch of old ladies did 120
befor lunch with one hand in some kind of assembly jig. Break down models have same running gears. A lot of time used parts don't work well in these pistols.
