There's been a few full autos around for a while, but there's darn little interest in them,at least as a shoulder fired weapon.In the 70s, Aberdeen Proving Ground experimented with autos in a dual mount, using a 9mm subgun loaded only with tracers as a impact marker. The idea was as a ambush buster for APCs.
The big prob is control. Muzzle rise is terrific, even with compensators and brakes.
Anyone that's ever had a shotgun "Double" on them knows where the second shot goes is way different from the first.
Considering the devastation possible with a large capacity repeating shotgun in a short time frame, a full auto shotgun would be kind of moot....
