I shoot mostly cast bullets in my handguns. About the only jacketed are self defense factory loads, otherwise equal power cast is used for practice. Semi autos get a reasonably firm taper crimp and revolver loads a rather firm roll crimp. Most revolver loads were mostly for targets and defense against things with teeth that bite and claws that scratch.
