How can you say it's a moot point?

Beretta clearly says not to violate SAAMI or it voids the warranty.
Then they turn around and say it's ok to use +P.

So - what is it?
Is it ok or does it void the warranty?

Not to be a jerk - but - what Ruger or any other mfg says is a moot point since the OP is asking about the Beretta Pico specifically.
