Hawg, Your post got me to wondering (since I've never fired a .58 Minie ball) so I went to Youtube and checked out a few videos on Minie balls. GOOD GRIEF!!!
They should have named it THE WRECKING BALL! Sure changes ones way of thinking about the carnage that must have went down back then.
