I've been running Remingtons with the Walker trigger ..... for decades ..... it's like any other piece of equipment: take care if it and it will work, neglect it, and it will fail.
Keep them clean. If your idea of cleaning a gun is to hose them down with WD-40 or 3in1 oil ..... yeah, they might not work as intended.....
