Disassembly of the gas block is easy, 4 screws, 2 halves, the piston (wiggly thing you referenced, and yes, it is suppose to wiggle) and the gas bushing which is about the size as a .177 pellet. The bushing lines up 2 small holes, 1 in the barrel and 1 in the piston. When reassembling use feeler gauges to evenly space the 2 halves of the block and torque screws to 30 inch pounds. As a note, the 4 screws are staked at the factory, initially tighten just a scrunch to break loose. Also, since you won't be restaking the screws use some blue Locktite.
