Newbie Q: will gun oil and cleaning solvents damage the tritium night sights on my Sig P250? When I clean the piece I like to spray the whole slide inside and out out with Remoil, wipe it off, then attack the inside of the slide with the Hoppes solvent. Can the Remoil damage the Trit night sights if it gets in them and stays in for a while? if so, is there something benign that I can use to temporarily plug up the dots to keep the Remoil out? Maybe a bit of window rope-caulk?
