The 6mm rem chambering is the best thing its got going for it. That would add a little value IMO. I'd take a 6mm rem over a .243 win any day.
Caliber selection is always a factor..and can be a major factor...The $300-350 amounts mentioned would be for a standard rifle in 30-06..of which they made many of em and are the cheapest of the lot....
