im sorry fellas i was in a bit of a rush when i last posted .
I made my Hudson Valley fowler a few years back .
it has a 56 inch barrel . i originally these were rather large bore 12 gage or better . but i wanted a smaller bore so as to conserve lead so I requested a bore of .540 .
All the hardware , butt plate , side plate , TG and thimbles , I made from an old set of Damascus barrels that had long since past the usable state . The stock is maple . The thumb piece I made from a old very worn Liberty silver dollar.

The Bag , as I said , was made by a good friend who is a top notch Taylor.
The bag is actually my rifle bag .
I do a lot of off hand target shooting which includes speed shooting as well as hunting . So he built it to my spec’s . so I can quickly load without looking down from the target .

At the time I also had him making me another bag specifically for my fowlers . Here is that fowler bag
