Literally, all you need is a a different barrel and different ammo.
To swap a barrel instead of an entire upper every time I hunt is out of the question.

To say the 6.8 or the .300 has better ballistics than the other ignores many aspects of ballistics.
I'm basing this on success that local hunters are having for pig and deer hunting. I have not heard success stories yet on the 300BLK unless going subsonic and supressed.

When you look at ammo cost and bullet selection, then of course, the 300 BO holds an edge.
The difference in price (which isn't much) in no biggy, it's not my plinking round.
