I had a Saiga conversion for a few years. Once I got into reloading, it became obvious it wasn't the ideal platform for that plus adding optics was not it's strong suit.
I just regret the 223 caliber is so tiny compared to the x39. Sure miss that solid thump it provided.
If I had to do it over, I'd probably just get a VZ 58.
