I don't mind cleaning my guns after shooting. It is a good time to shoot the breeze with my range buddy, or just to think about how the day went if I am alone. Of course, there are the days when there is just time to wipe them, punch the bore, and go do something else more pressing, but they always get cleaned after a trip.
Never try to educate someone who resists knowledge at all costs.
But what do I know?
