They will still fix this issue if you want.
I honestly have my doubts.

For kicks and giggles I'd love the OP to call SIG and see what they say. My experience in the past with SIG CS is that unless it's causing a malfunction they're not too eager to take it back.
Know the status of your weapon
Keep your muzzle oriented so that no one will be hurt if the firearm discharges
Keep your finger off the trigger until you have an adequate sight picture
Maintain situational awareness
