I stay with the standard weight ranges for my rate of twist and use Lymans boldly printed accuracy loads first. Lyman is not kidding about their accuracy loads, they never let me down.

One other thing is the brass. It has become very clear that the more brass prep you do, the better the load will be. Bullet seating. I take very much care to seat the bullet (or boolit) as carefully as possible. I usually seat the bullet slightly and then lower the ram and rotate the case and gently continue seating it, This allows the bullet to right itself if it entered the case slightly cocked.
