As labhound said the Cougar, 92FS and PX4 are good choices. The XD's and XDM Springfields are very safe with their grip safetys and the M & P Smith and Wessons offer thumb safetys. Ruger SR9 and SR9c's also have thumb safetys. I think FN also offer safetys on their models as well.
