Recently, I spilled water on the top of the Gunvault GV1000, 5 minutes later it poped open. Called the company TEC service, Spoke to Art: Nice enough man.
Very disappointed that they did not take this issue serious.
Personally, The Gun Vault is for the life safety of my children.
Spill water on it and then it opens.
" This is not a
safety Issue" IT IS A
LIFE SAFTEY ISSUE".
I own 3 of these safes and will be removing them all and replacing them with a more reliable safe. Not worth the chance
