Blackops_2: I had thought about the 300 Win mag and the 6.8, i havent done much research on the other calibers you listed.

PawPaw: I agree with ya. The only person that needs to justify it is me.. I just wanted some opinions and maybe views I hadnt thought about. Just like what you said, for what I want to do, the .308 is fine. It would probably be easier on me for reloading as well.
