The seventies as bad as every double digit economic statistic there was doesn't compare with the last two years. There was still hope and Reagan restored that hope. American people now perceive that our country is self-destructing. There is no truth in government or in the media that is suppose to report the truth. Our government can't manage the budget and is spending uncontrollably like a drunken sailor( no offense ). I'm 62yrs. and I've never experienced the malaise and dissatisfaction the American people are feeling now.
America is the greatest country ever in history, but that great Hope and Change is fading fast.
