I use about a 50/50 mix of OMS and NuFinish. I add them both to one of the squeeze bottles like ketchup and mustard used to be kept in.
The advantages are the OMS helps with the cleaning action and mixed with the NuFinish it allows it to mix in with your media much faster. Straight NuFinish will mix, but you have to tumble it a lot longer before it mixes.
If I just want to clean and not so much shine, I just add OMS to plain media. But realize the OMS evaporates overnight.
