I'd stay away from anything cheaper than Weavers, but two-piece Weavers have worked just fine for me on quite a few rifles for some sixty years. Conetrols are a lot prettier, although more complex--but they've been on my Sako .243 for forty years. IOW, by and large, brand is unimportant.

For recoil of no more than a .30-'06, aluminum bases work okay. I'd go with steel for Big Thumpers.

Odds are with that scope, low rings and bases will work.
