Mossberg 500 issue

this was taken after ejecting a shell and trying to ram another one home. it shouldve been in the chamber with the action closed...if that makes sense. sometimes it takes 6-7 good hard racks to chamber a round. I don't feel like the shell latch is bent, but the edge of it feels like it may be rough/need to be sanded. It seems too minor to be causing this kind of an issue. I did smoothe out some rough areas with high grit sand paper yesterday, but it's not like i railed on anything..it was all pretty light. i never really function tested it with shells before i did that anyway. The feeding issue is so bad right now sometimes I'll have to pump it (i rack with AUTHORITY too) 6-7 times before I hear and feel it feed. one thing i can say about the gun is its already the smoothest mossberg ive ever used from the stuff ive done to it, but the issue needs to be corrected. i dropped the cartidge stop and interruptor from my 590 mariner in and it worked fine.,,
