I wonder if that would be the case if the poll specified quality without re: to cost, and included overall production standards for different guns.
I think Sig Sauer and S&W would take a back seat to no one. Both make lots of guns and are bigger than Ruger.
As for specific HG of the year, Ruger would certainly be a contender with their, "innovative" new designs that may prove worth over time.
