Here I go again - touting the benefits of Alliant powders...but between the 3 Unique, Bullseye and 2400 there just aren't too many handgun calibers you can't load with a huge variety of bullets. Plus, when you sum it all up, they are pretty cheap on the pocketbook as well.
For example, do the math - .38 spl using 2.5 grains of Bullseye...let's see - 7000 grains per pound, 2.5 per case......2800 loads per pound. Even if you have to give too much for the pound you get a lot of bang for the buck.
So, for the .45 I shoot Unique's sister - Bullseye - I push a 230 grain Remington Golden Saber over a CCI primer with 4.9 grains of Bullseye.
Works first time, every time!
