These days I guess we all use what we can find. I started relading a few months ago. After reading the reloading manuals, I had some definite ideas on what I would get. After going to the store, well I was surprised at the lack of selections suitable for my 45 Colt and 357. I was able to buy a couple pounds of Unique and a pound of 231 though. They will last me for a good long time while I'm learning things. No complaints at all. A shooting buddy offered to trade me a lb can of 296 for my pound of 231. I didn't do it though. The 296 doesn't look as versatile to me for my needs.
