Overall I like the Rugers. They have earned a excellent reputation over the years for safe functional performance. The M77 is CRF, has that all important to me three position safety and is made in the USA!
I notice that you have selected the 300 WM version and the weight of the rifle is 7.75# sans scope. That would be a little heavy for me these days not that my old M70's don't weigh as much or more.
