I had a timney trigger on an older model 700 so decided to just switch it out with my new model 700. The problem is the new 700 has a floor plate that opens, the old one didn't. Anyway the adjusting allen screw that sticks out the bottom of the trigger hits the floor plate release mechanism. Is there a more elegant way of fixing that other than filing off the floor plate release knob?
