BTW does the 2" barrel appear to be original? Original prewar M&P snubbies seem less common than their postwar cousins, but many, many of them have had their barrels cut
Yeah the CofS&W gave it a pretty wide date range. It's a customer's gun, so I'll take a closer look at the barrel next time I see it. I didn't think to check, but if the tang is serrated, it's post 1923. I figured it would fall in the 1930's, given the serial #.
