Seating problems with cast bullets

I am new to reloading, so any help will be appreciated.

I purchased 125 grain 9mm Kead cast bullets and started reloading my first batch this week. I use a Dillon 550 with Dillon dies.

Here is my problem, a bullet almost slips into a resized 9mm cartridge without any belling of the cartridge. A ever sight belling results in the bullet sliding down into the cartridge. If I don't bell the case then I get a sliver of lead on the cartridge after the bullet has been seated. If I bell the case the bullet slides into the cartridge and sits on top of the powder. When it does that I can't regulate the cartridge length. I have tried this on several brass cartdridges.

My conclusion is that the bullets are simply not the right diameter and I may not be able to use them. Any thoughts?

Thanks for your help.
