Say what??? So how do my bullets approach 2700 fps - do they accelerate after leaving the barrel -- Like magic?
I'm not sure, but I think that is a true statement. What is the speed of sound in a gas compressed to, say, 100 atmospheres of pressure? I'll bet it's a lot faster than 1100 fps.
