Very Old 10/22 Rear Sight

An "old timer" from my VFW post brought me his very old, very nice Ruger 10/22. He says, " I bought this'n here when they's first come out".

He asks me if I can help him with the rear sight ( we do a bit of squirrel hunting together).

He managed to break the head off of one of the rear sight adjustment screws. Parkinsons has set in on this old buddy of mine and looks like in trying to adjust his sights , he scratched the crap out of the sight and boogered up the screw heads.

So, I'm thinking just replace the rear sight.
Any ideas?

Sadly, money is very tight for this old war hero. He recieved a Bronze Star and Purple Heart during D-day on Guam.
