.30-'06 ingredients

Rem or Win cases used to be my brass. They were good. Have switched to Lapua. Pricey but OH, so consistent, and need zero new case prep!

Used to use Sierra 165 grain Gamekings; they worked fine, and nice & accurate, but the lead tips damaged easily. Now use Nosler 165 grain Ballistic Tips; they work just as fine, nice and accurate, and have hard plasic tips that don't get damaged.

Started with IMR 4064 powder, went through IMR 4320 and tried a couple of others; have settled on IMR 4350 as THE powder for the grand old '06.

Used to use Federal primers, but I will not buy any more of them until they switch back to a reasonable size package. CCI Benchrest primers are pricey but they are also very uniform and very reliable.
