At the ripe old age of 8 or 9 my uncle took us out to shoot some shotguns. After shooting several different shotguns (Barney Fife style - only one shell in the gun) over the course of a few hours he decided we were safe enough to load up both bbls of 12ga side-by-side. Me, my siblings and cousins went through several rotations shooting cans, etc . . . without incident.

However I was a little too excited when my turn came around again and I promptly put my index finger on the front trigger, my middle finger on the back trigger and cut loose with both bbls at the same time . . . OUCH! But I LOVED it, it was great. Memories of those times and days are among the best in my head.
America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards. Claire Wolfe
