I have read some of the proposed technologies. I have to say that Radio Transmitters are a VERY bad idea. I can just see the FCC (Government) issuing frequencies for these things. Making sure that they are on another band. In this scenario, some minor RF jamming, and your gun goes click and theirs goes bang! The last thing your hear is "This was a test of the Emergency broadcast system"
