I too will recommed a bit of work on the DA, but don't turn it over to one of the smiths who touts super light pulls. I have seen several S&W's done that way, and unless the bad guy will fall down at the sound of a "click" the very light pull is not the way to go. Make sure it will ignite every primer every time, with a margin for working in cold or dirt.
