Front sight removal MK40

Has any one tried to remove front sight on Kahr MK40? I'm finding it impossible to get off. The sight blade is broken and I want to remove base to replace sight. It may as well be welded in as it won't budge. Any ideas?

I would try a pusher. Someone in an earlier thread on this subject suggested sending it back to the company also. George

Thanks George, tried that to. Kahr said send it back and they will do it. They recommend I don't even try it because they are put in so tight.
