I know this may seem like a silly question, but I’m new to shotguns. Is there such a thing as an automatic double-barreled shotgun? As in load 10 rounds (5 in each reserve) and pull both triggers, then it automatically reloads both chambers.
Thanks.

I don't know about that, but I've seen moe the bartender using a double barrel pump shotgun. Of course, that was a cartoon.

Not really. Some doubles used to be called automatic, when opened they ejected the shells and cocked the internal hammers. This is quite old, ca 1880.

grenadier1974,
the action you describe will only be found in cartoons (as bastiat mentions).......... or in a Hollywood movie. ANYTHING is possible in Hollywood.

Actually......there is!!!!
Some years ago, John Satterwhite, the shotgun guru, had a pair of Remington 1100 shotguns, one left hand, one right hand, mounted together. They fired off a single trigger device, and had, I think, 10 round magazine extensions, for a total of 20 rounds.
Very bulky/heavy, but WHAT a SHOW.
