Hi all:

I sent the following to Lone Wolf a few minutes ago, but thought I'd ask for help here also.

"My LWD drop-in barrel dropped in, but now won't drop-out. I went to the range today to try out my new LWD 9mm barrel in my Glock 23. Everything functioned fine when I manually operated the action by hand, but when I fired the first round here's what happened. The round fired, extracted, and ejected just fine. The slide stripped a fresh round from the magazine and fed it into the chamber, but the gun wouldn't go into battery. It appears that the tounge that extends above and to the rear of the chamber is now too wide to fit into the notch at the top of the breech-face on the slide. What should I do? Take a look. BTW, I can't disassemble the pistol, otherwise I'd fix this with some sandpaper."

Never mind. I got it to seat and got the pistol apart. Now to polish the corners to make it fit.:)

Just wanted to let anyone know who sees this, that JR at Lonewolf got in touch with me and got me past the problem. One little tap with a dremel and I have a good fit. :)

I got really good results at the range. Very accurate, functioned perfectly.

Thanks,

Robert

If we needed further evidence that drop in parts often aren't.
