As a fan of the Sharpes books and films, I have come to be a fan of the Baker Rifle. This was the issue weapon of the 95th Rifles. The 95th was a light infantry/skirmisher unit that fought in the Penninsula campaign and at Waterloo. Would anyone here happen to know where I could find a replica of the Baker rifle? One of these would be neat to have since Im starting to get interested in black powder shooting. Thanks in advance for any info anyone may have.

Stam-Go to , http://www.militaryheritage.com/baker.htm nice site with lots of pictures and info.
There is a good looking replica available from these folks for $465.00. An extra $150.00 gets you a rifled barrel and test firing. All things considered, that dosen't sound too bad to me.
I might get one of those myself. C&B

Go the Rifle Shoppe. They make the best replica Baker you can find. They made their castings from originals and build them accordingly. The quality of workmanship is reputedly superb and they are held in high esteem by the blackpowder community (OK, the drawback is that it takes forever).
