Here's the unusual Stenda, yet another gun that those prolific Germans turned out in the first half of the century! I think there are more German guns from that era than all other countries combined! :)

The gun is also known as the Beholla (after its maker, Becker und Hollander), the Menta, the Stenda and the Leonhardt. Stenda was the designer. The pistols were produced in several B&H plants, a partial explanation for the various names. There is one report of German military use in WWI. Most have the takedown via a pin accessed through a hole in the slide; the later ones have the takedown latch shown here above the trigger.
