Hi all,
I am a new member and was looking for your help!
I am looking at purchasing the Remington 870 Border Patrol w/18" barrel and parkerized finish from Wilson Combat/Scattergun Tech for $675.00. Does anyone have any info or experience with this particular model? I understand the reputation of Wilson products and the price seems to be fair but would like to hear your advice and wisdom.
Thanks in advance for any help.:)

There's zillions of old threads on 870s, check the Archives for input.

The 870 itself is considered an all time classic.

A used 870 (or even a good deal on a new Express) that you add your own doo-dads to is cheaper. You could use the extra cash for ammo. (How's that Dave?) ;)

Hey CC, didn't I just see you in the niners club on GT? :)

Ditto on what 9mmMike said.

Get an 870 Express. Add ghost ring sights and a hi vis mag follower, jumbo head safety, and you'll have saved a lot of $$.
