I found one in verygood orginal condition,,,,can Ya'll help with an appx value.....thankyou.....and just so ya know, thanks for all your help........fubsy.

I shouldn't suggest another site, but I think if you try the http://www.gunandknife.com carbine forum, you will get all the information you want (maybe more). A lot depends on whether it is actually all original, and has the original rear sight, front band, etc. In addition, almost all carbines were rebuilt at some time with whatever parts were at hand. NPM did not make barrels, so several different barrel markings will show up on NPM carbines. Most original parts will have an "N" marking, with or without another letter. The NPM is not the rarest of the carbines, with about 413 thousand made, but it is a desireable item.

Thankyou for the information, I would buy this rifle regardless as a memory of a very good friend, I am curious about it though.......thankyou...fubsy.
