View Full Version : Is my EBR defective?

With all the hoopla surrounding AR and all semi-auto weapons lately I have been conducting some tests. First my old Ruger 10/22 has had a loaded 25 round mag (Hi capacity ya know) in it for several months, sitting in a rack over the door in my loading room, I have been checking it pretty regularly lately, and so far nothing has happened, it hasn't fired on its own or attacked anyone. So I thought maybe it was because it was a .22 LR, so I have been keeping my 1911 loaded and on my nightstand for several years, been checking it more regularly lately, again no shots fired, all rounds accounted for and it hasn't attacked anyone. Well maybe it is just because it is an old design. So finally my Rem R-15 i bought back in October,, I keep it loaded with a 20 round full of HP's, and wake up occasionally to check it here lately, but still nothing, as near as I can tell the only time it does anything is when I pick it up. Maybe I need a 30 round mag in it for it to show its evil side, or are all of my firearms defective.?

I've I've already tried that.... I have several 30 round magazines (loaded with those so very scary bullets that will go right through bullet proof vests, even!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111!!!!) right there next to my AR, and still NOTHING. They just sat there on the shelf in the safe, for months.

OK now you're really killing me! No pun intended.:D

well yes I would say I found your problem.
everyone knows that an assault rifle is a high powered killing machine so naturally your high capacity 10/22, which is still a very dangerous weapon that exceeds anyone's needs for ammo, does not meet the requirement to be an assault rifle as 22lr is not a high powered death dealer round.

then your 1911 only has 7-8 rounds in it, though this is a very irresponsible and dangerous method or storage, it does not have more than 10 rounds and is not nearly as dangerous as a glock which can have up to 33 rounds in it, as such your 1911 does not have the aggressive instinct to vicously murder you and your family in their sleep.

then your remington R15, most models I've seen do not have a flash hider or collapsable stock. those missing components added with the fact that it was not loaded with 30 rounds rob your R15 of the necessary compounds necessary to incite aggression towards your family and neighborhood.

now if that 10/22 was actually a mini 14, chambered in the high powered killing machine cartridge that is 223, your dog would be dead and your cat would be missing,
if that 1911 was a sig sauer pistol instead, holding a 15 round death machine magazine you and your wife would have been murdered in your sleep and if you had gotten a bushmaster instead of a remington and stuff it with a 30 instead of a 20 rounder, your entire neighborhood would have been slaughtered like cow...I mean..er.... endangered wolverines and majestic McKensie Valley Gray wolves :D

You know now that I think about it, at one point late at night I thought I heard a low growly laugh, then I realized it was my wie snoring. :D

You guys are getting lucky with your assault weapons! My department had a special minister come do an exorcism to remove the evil murderous spirits from the Glocks and AR-15s we carry around on duty. It’s a huge liability to a department if you run around with assault weapons without removing the demons first!

I suggest you guys do the same.

Fun fact: The leader of this gun blessing churh, Pope Michael Bloomberg, personally blesses the NYPD’s guns.

I've feared this same type of thing for years. That's why my "Evil" rifles are locked in my safe. Not to protect them.........but to protect me:eek:
And just to be more safe, on the back of my gunroom door is a "Gun-free zone" sign.

Great read :) On a cereal note (Captain Crunch to be precise) I have also heard that the addition of a 1 or 3 point sling could end up choking you in your sleep as well... you must never leave it attached to your rifle... however 2 point leather slings are ok for use because they are the only ones used for hunting in the South.

My Stag has been following me; everytime I turn around, there it is, just full of blackness and angst. Even when it's in the safe I think I keep seeing it, lurking just out of sight in my mind.

Good Grief Jo6pak you are seriously pushing your luck. The addition of the "gun Free zone" could turn all of them in Zombie guns, stalking you remorselessly.
