Jacked up my 930 SPX forend (trying to make the gun work...should have just bought a Nordic extension...sore subject).

I don't see any replacement stocks out there. I see railed forend for $150-$200 but is be happy with a regular forearm. Where can I find the factory one? I looked on Mossberg website but didn't see anything. Roughly how much should I expect to pay?

Check Brownells too ....they may have them...

Pawn shops / Used gun shops -- might have something --- or you can buy a used gun as a parts gun...

Called mossberg. $30. Had to wait for about 5 minutes on the phone. That wasn't bad but they wouldn't sell it to me without me giving them the serial number which I of course didn't have with me.

So, now are you going to correctly fix the magazine problem?

Ha. Yes I am. I'm fixing what Mossberg/Choate should have designed right in the first place.

Got a short tube coming from Nordic. Reduces my capacity but the full length tube is impossible to find right now. Kind of like the idea though. Gun will be lighter and quicker. Although as soon as I can I'll get the right length tube.

Going to order the forearm from Mossberg this morning.

Choate follower along with removing the bevel will fix it, trust me.

I've good exprience with Mossberg customer service once I finally made it past the automated greetings and such.

Only downside is they aren't big on communicating past the intial contact.

As in, I talked to them, shipped my gun to them, and didn't hear anything out of them until the FedEx guy came knocking at the door.
