Does anyone know of a 9mm carbine that is capable of handling a steady diet of +P ammo?

Have a friend who is looking for one. He has a high point and it says you can shoot them occasionally, but not a steady diet.

Suomi KP(M-31) SMG in 9mm

Actually you have to use +P ammo in it for it to function properly. The original 9mm used in it had a bad habit of blowing up pistols whenever a pore soldier got it mixed in with normal 9mm. An Uzi would also work it was made to use Israeli black tip +p ammo.

I believe the HiPoint is, but cannot recommend one as mine broke three times.

I'm Uncle Buck's friend. I misspoke when I talked to him before. The HiPoint IS rated for a steady diet of +P, but it's the only carbine I know of that is. I am looking for alternatives, particularly with higher mag capacity.

I thought that was wrong...the HP is fine for +P all day long.

"ALL Hi-Point Firearms are +P+ rated; they will handle all factory ammunition including Law Enforcement Only +P+ loads."
